Bidrage med feedbackWe were staying only a minute walk from Veiga Marina and boy did we feel lucky to have this gem of a restaurant on our doorstep. The venue itself is a beautiful piece of history and an insight to years gone by. The thick stone, cavernous walls housed a small but well thought out dining space which kept us cool with the searing heat outside. The outside space is beautiful too with wonderful views down towards Pontevedra and the beautiful hillsides. The welcome was warm too. With our lack of Spanish clear, the staff were accommodating, friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We were a group of 8 (4 kids 4 adults) and the first night we had tapas, pinchos and drinks to tide us over, and a pizza for the kids to share. The wine was a good quality and the food was wholesome and fairly priced. On our next visit we had a full meal, which included pork neck, grilled vegetables and steak with potatoes (kids were on the pizza again). We followed this with desserts, coffees a few more glasses on vino. Altogether we paid just €60 (they took off the price of the desserts due to service being slow to be fair it was nothing that had bothered us) which was amazing value we felt. If you are in the local vicinity you’d be crazy not to come and have a drink and snack, at the very least!
Amazing! Blown away by the quality of food and service. My family and I were in the area and found this place in TripAdvisor and decided to come based on the reviews here. Definitely worth the drive up. The place has a professional chef and the service is really great. Every single items is delicious. The place is cozy, rustic, and authentic. Great for those who want to get an authentic meal in a hidden treasure of a restaurant. Recommend the huevos rotos con gulas y gambas (eggs with shrimp), pizza de cuatro quesos (four cheese), puntillas (like a calamari), y pizza de pulpo (octopus).
