VACA - Costa Mesa

Excellent spot to try hidden in Costa Mesa. Lots of delicious tapas! We really like the lamb meatballs and the scallops!

I've been to many highly rated restaurants but found Vaca to have the most EXCELLENT service. We never had to call our server for anything. Glasses were refilled before we realized it was low, food came out as it should, and details were attended to immediately. It made dinner even more delicious.

A little crowded when full but an absolute delightful, unpretentious dining experience. Service was top notch and food was excellent. Usually not eager to go back to places simply because there are so many great restaurants in Orange County but I will be returning.

Vaca is a breath of fresh air around Orange County. They create beautiful, unique sharable dishes. Come and order a bunch and let everyone have a bite of each. Most of their plates are tapas style, so only a few bites, but they are wonderful. There are a few larger dish options but I feel like Vaca is at its best when you bring a group and have fun with all their smaller sharing plates.

The food and service were both excellent. I will definitely be back again!
