Bidrage med feedbackBest spot in Cornish to chill and have a delicious brew :
The Coffee Joint is the quintessential cozy cafe. Between the plants scattered (and thriving) about the place, the resident dog who trots about and delicately determines if you're worthy of giving pets, and the friendliness of the owner and staff--the atmosphere itself is reason to visit. It's definitely a locals place, if you sit there for a while (as I do, I enjoy finishing up paperwork there when my schedule allows) you'll hear people coming and going and chatting with staff; everyone clearly aware of (and concerned with) the details of each other's lives. Importantly, the food is amazing. The tea is superb, I don't drink coffee but my friends who do say it's on point, the smoothies are lovely... They serve sandwiches now which are both healthy and delicious, the smoothie bowls hit the spot on a hot day, and the baked goods are very inclusive for those with dietary restrictions (it's one of the few places I'm confident that anyone who visits with me will have something delicious which is safe for them to eat). There's rotating art exhibits, which I always enjoy peaking at; and local artisans sell some wares there while many of the ingredients used in their dishes are from local farmers. Hopefully I've convinced someone to check this place out! I want them to have many customers so they stay in business and I always have a peaceful welcoming space to end my workweek at.

Great coffee and muffins. The atmosphere was very relaxing.
It is ALWAYS a delight to walk in your door. The shop is so clean and neat. You are all so friendly and warm, and you offer a wonderful variety of teas and coffees and more. But best of all are the gluten free goodies you make. It is such a treat to be able to just pick out anything without worrying if ot is safe or not.
