Nickel’s Pit Bbq Corning

Had the brisket nachos, but over tots. Oh, my... So good. Great beer and liquor selection. Service was great! Love going there!

Let's get one thing right: the BBQ is epic, and I've had St. Louis and North Carolina BBQ to stack it up against. Fantastic pulled pork! We were greeted promptly when we went in and the server was attentive to us. The prices are a little high but it is downtown Corning. Compare the price to the quality and it's definitely worth it. Having said all of the above, the reason I'm rating the atmosphere low is because of the pride flag out front of the establishment. Restaurants are welcoming to all people and shouldn't be promoting political messages. Full stop. I would highly recommend the flag go because it won't sit well with some. But, the BBQ would sit well with most (in my opinion)!Kid-friendliness: We were offered a height chair immediately. ? However, the bathroom didn't have a changing table.

Nice place to visit when at Corning NY. The Cuban, Carolina Pulled Pork and Mac Attack sandwiches were ok. The servers were very nice. The atmosphere had a cool vibe. Minutes away from the Corning Museum and from the main hwy. If you're in the area, check it out.

Don't miss this place of you're in Corning. The menu is huge. I got the Butchie. The sandwich was like 8 tall. And it tasted incredible. I consider myself a brisket fan, and the meat was top notch. It came without sauce, to showcase the meat, but you can add the sauce of your choice as you eat it. Wish I didn't live 4 hours away, but you can bet I'll be back if I'm passing within an hour of Nickel's.

We had the Carolina BBQ sandwich and Tacos for Taco Wednesday. They did not disappoint. The pulled pork was nice and juicy as well as very tasty. Hubby really enjoyed his 3 different tacos.
