Bidrage med feedbackWelcome back Miami Spice Heard a lot of good things about this place for some time so I was really excited to try their Miami Spice menu and the food definitely did not disappoint, the food was absolutely incredible... For $15 we decided to go for the all you can drink mimosas and they did a nice job setting it up. You go to the bar and pour fresh squeezed orange juice, grapefruit juice, or peach nectar into a wine glass and pour your own bubbly so you can make it as sweet or as strong as you like. They had blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries to add to the mimosas which was a nice touch My sister and I each had the $23 Miami Spice four course meal and we both got something different so we could share and try a little bit of everything and everything we had was very very good We started out with the deviled eggs and the apricot glazed wings. They were both very good but the wings were definitely my favorite, really nice and crispy and the apricot glaze was amazing... it came with a sauce on the side that had a little bit of a kick to it that went so well with the sweetness of the wings We had the lobster bisque which was also very good, it had a lot of chunks of lobster meat in it which I really liked followed by the chicken Milanese and the prime sirloin meatloaf. They were both so very good... very happy we decided to share everything because I wouldn't be able to pick a favorite between them For desert we had the bread pudding and the carrot cake and they were some of the best deserts I've had in a restaurant really both so very good Overall, such a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and great food I highly recommend going especially now with their Miami Spice special so you can try a little bit of everything at a great price
Can only speak to the bar and patio experience for this place, but if it is any indication for the overall experience, this place is a Gables FTW! Came in w/some friends for some libations and this place can definitely make a mean old fashioned and mezcal-based cocktails. I also had the deviled eggs w/millionaire bacon and O-M-G! Get in my mouf alllll day errrrrrday! The eggs were delish, but the candied bacon was where it was at! They had a great patio area with a fire pit that was a fantastic way to spend a very chill evening with a perfect breeze and relaxed convos with friends. So if you are looking for a place with well-made cocktails, some good noms, and a laid back vibe, this is where it's at!
If you know me, you know that I'm always in pursuit of a great happy hour. BrickTops knows where it's at from 4 pm 7 pm offering a nice selection of house wines for $5 as well as snacks on the cheap. I've visited several times for happy hour, but most recently a group of girlfriends and I enjoyed the outdoor seating over vino. They've also got Veuve Cliqout for $10 a glass during happy hour which is an amazing deal for that kind of bubbly! The HH menu is filled with bar snacks for $7. My go to order is always one of the sushi rolls spicy tuna is never a bad idea in my book. They also have some amazing house chips topped with blue cheese and some other melted cheese situation. The food is always consistent, and the portions are plentiful for such a good price. On my most recent trip I also ordered a side of mac and cheese it was only $5 and totally delicious! Not only is the food consistent, but I have always gotten great service here as well. Each time we stay for hours just catching up, and our glasses never go empty for too long. You can't beat an evening of drinks and bites for under $40 cheers to Happy Hour at Bricktops! When it's nice Miami weather, you can enjoy your cocktails al fresco around their fire pits. Super nice ambiance to celebrate the short, illusive, Miami Winter!
Came for dinner because my daughter was going back to college the next day. This was her second dinner here in a few days!! We had to wait about 1/2 hour for a table but we didn't have a reservation so we weren't bothered by the wait. We ordered the following: Spinach dip appetizer Sea bass with spinach Florida grouper with kale quinoa salad Bistro chicken with mashed potatoes Chicken Milanese with fettuccine alfredo on the side Filet mignon with a lobster tail and mashed potatoes 1/2 roasted chicken with mashed potatoes Lobster bisque with a side of mac cheese. The Chicken Milanese was the best dish of the night but everyone enjoyed their food. The service was not as spectacular as last time but the place was packed. We were too full for dessert but their bread pudding is to die for!!
So yummy! Very basic menu, nothing out of this world except for their tuna tartare. It honestly had to be one of the best ones I 've tried. The wonton chips were fresh and so flavorful with the tuna, mango and avocado. I would come back here and order that as just my dinner if I could! The churrasco was great and my chicken was amazing (don 't remember the menu name, but it was basically a parmesan crusted chicken). Mac and cheese was alright. Bread pudding was to die for though. Not too hip very quaint and cozy. Nice date night (at least on the day I went). Didn 't get too much of that trendy/hip vibe like you might get at Bulla for example (across the street) but very good place for dinner.
