The Byre Tearooms - Copeland

The Roast Dinner at this restaurant was absolutely excellent, served in a cozy atmosphere. The staff were all accommodating and friendly. I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone.

How the staff being so young are trained to such a high standard is beyond belief.We had our Christmas meal this evening and it was the very best meal we ever had.Every single part of the meal was hot,veg was cooked to perfection.premises were very clean,couldn’t fault at all except the gravy boat was badly chipped,well done

Looks welcoming but were not allowed in with our dogs which is very surprising in the Lakes . Unusual not to have at least a small section for walkers with dogs , most pubs and eating places in the Lakes do and it is many years since we experienced this .We have a dog friendly holiday cottage not far away and will not be recommending to our guests .

While driving to Whitehaven, we came across this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We were glad we did. The staff was very welcoming and the menu was extensive, providing us with plenty of options. The food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. We highly recommend this place. It seems like a great option for families as well. It's a good idea to book ahead as it can get very busy.

Delicious food at a great price. Staff were lovely, really welcoming. If you're in the area, I would definitely recommend.... you may wish to pre book. Sunday roast was amazing, seeing a great portion size for a really good price.
