Blue Mingo Grill - Cooperstown

I love that Mingo is dog friendly. You do have to use an outside seating. It's not a problem. It was a chilling day, though. They have portable heaters, good ones. But none were located out where we sat. My mom was cold. Me too, a little. Dad didn't care. The food was amazing, and the lobster roll was outstanding. Ahi Tuna nachos were kinda stingy on the tuna. But it was delicious. Dad loved the clam chowder and the potstickers. We got the strawberry and blueberry creme Brule, so good so fresh loved it.

My boyfriend was so obsessed with the burger he had that he made up come back just for the plain burger. He said, It 's a nice, juicy, 1/2 lb burger, cooked to a perfect medium. The bun is high-quality and delicious. They didn 't skimp on the bun. The waterfront is also beautiful and the service very friendly. He wouldn 't stop talking about how it was the best burger he 's had in years. They also have cute ducks walking around. Good fried pickles clam chowder, too! Can 't miss it if you 're in the area.

Worst Caesar salad I ever had, no Parmesan cheese, not tossed and crappy bottled dressing. Coconut shrimp are the frozen low quality type, yuck. The brussel sprouts with chili sauce and mole was good.

What a fun place to stop for lunch! Our waitress was wonderful! The salads are great!!!

The mingo club was absolutely delicious, as were the coconut shrimp. very nice to sit next to the lake. parking was a little confusing but we were able to figure it out!
