Bidrage med feedbackDuring our trip, we dined at this restaurant. The seafood feast we ordered was incredibly fresh, especially the fish, and the prawn ghee roast was absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself was simple and the service was moderate, but the waiters were polite.
The restaurant is not recommended. The dining area had dirty plates and glasses with a smell. Despite being hungry, I regretted not leaving to find another place to eat. The location of the hotel is in Honnawar, a spot between Kumta and Bydoor.
The seafood restaurant is located on a national highway, making it easily accessible but with a building entrance that may be challenging for older individuals. The atmosphere and cleanliness of the place are not exceptional, but the seafood is fresh. The Thali is average, with fish curry that is decent and freshly fried fish. The Makrele (Bangude) dish is recommended, often served with the Thali. Various options such as lady fish, pomfret, and king fish are available in fry, Roha, and Masala preparations. The Masala fry had a strong fish oil taste which detracted from the overall flavor, but the fish itself was excellent and fresh. Service during peak hours may be lacking, with room for improvement in cleanliness, staff numbers, and efficiency. Despite this, Pomfret is offered at a lower price compared to Goan restaurants. Overall, it is a good option for those wishing to experience Honnavar Coastal Delicacies.
A family restaurant with all kinds is seafood with reasonable prices. If you are hungry and want to taste the coast sea fish, to be the perfect place.
Whenever I travel from Mumbai to my native place Mangalore by road or while returning from Mangalore, I always make it a point to have my lunch at Navaratna for authentic mangalorean typle fresh seafood dishes and that too at an affordable rat ! The...ambience is nothing great to talk about but when it comes to food, its truly amazing and i strongly recommend this restaurant to my TripAdvisor community to stop over at Hotel Navaratna for lunch or dinner and you will not regret for the same.
