Benjamas - COOKS HILL

Basic environment. an adjacent free table, which is covered in used dishes and remained over the food, was not released for the duration of our stay. more accurate inspection, this was an indication of the general cleanliness. eating was a bit hit and missing. overall there are better options.

I had never been to Benjamas Thai before because I live far away. A friend recommended it to me because it is their go-to spot. I can see why! I love spicy food and really enjoyed the Pad Ped Duck and Stir Fried Basil dishes. They are a must try! I will definitely be returning to Benjamas Thai from now on.

Everything was extremely fresh! The flavors were amazing and the lunch prices were reasonable. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience.

Our hotel (Terminus) recommended this restaurant, and I am glad we followed their advice! We had dinner here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant is cozy, modern, and tastefully decorated. The waiter was lovely and attentive. We brought our own wine and they quickly provided glasses and an ice bucket. We ordered yellow curry and pad thai with rice, both of which were absolutely delicious. The flavors were outstanding and the presentation was beautiful. The portions were generous, leaving us feeling satisfied. Although it was a bit pricey, we overall loved the experience. We made a reservation over the phone, but the restaurant was not busy. This was the best meal we had in Newcastle, and we will definitely be returning on our next visit.

We just walked in and they couldn’t have been more accomodating. Inexpensive but fabulous food. The green curry was as good as we’ve had in Phuket. Unlicensed but there is a great liquor store on the next block.
