Esplanada | Bistro caffe & Restaurant

I made a reservation for myself and 20 of my friends and the owner offered us an inappropriate price taking into account the relationship between the quality and the price of food in this restaurant, and after the negotiations the remaining conditions for the profit of the restaurant were changed and the wishes of the customers were neglected. In addition, if he wanted to postpone the booking to a day before the first assigned day, although he had enough space for us, he vehemently rejected this proposal. We are deeply disappointed that we could not work with Esplanada Constanta.

The only nice thing to say about this food is the view. Food is not amazing and the service is terrible. You have to look like an old white 60-year-old man to treat you like a human being. I was there with my friend and it took us 20 minutes to get the check and every 5 minutes after they got the food they came one after the other to see if they can take the plates even though we still eat. Some eat slowly!

The good bits first: they arranged a table for two with a view, on the terrace overlooking the beach/sea. The staff were helpful and attentive. The Aligoté was well paired with the fish. The not so good bits: we ordered fish- turbot, an expensive, fine and rather boneless fish. We were served- at turbot price- some other fish, somehow similar, but with much darker flesh and a lot of bones. Definitely not turbot. Rather overpriced for the simple cuisine on offer.

The restaurant has created a perfect ambiance beautiful architecture, blending so well with the colours of the sea. The selection of cold and hot starters is wide and delicious. The service was impeccable.Mr. Daniel was warm, friendly and courteous he made sure all our orders were served promptly. Many thanks Mr. Daniel.

Three of us came to a day trip from Bulgaria. We found this restaurant by chance. It turned out to be a good choice, the food and service were good, I was offered the turbot, and it was cooked for perfection. I recommend this when you are in Constanta, it had the additional bonus to leave no children running around, I guess it's too high for young families.
