La Chata Mexican Restarant - Conroe

I forgot to take a picture before I started eating ? and I must say, everything was DELICIOUS!!! My wife and I both loved the place. The food was amazing, really authentic and the people there are also amazing and caring! Will definitely be going back!

This place is a hidden gem. The place is a hole in the wall taqueria, but the food feels authentic and has always been very well done and super reasonable prices. This time is got breakfast Chilequele with barbacoa and scrambled eggs. All the components were perfectly cooked right down to the refried beans. Red and green sauce accompaniments were perfect. Great job guys.

I just moved here from Houston and found this small place, they have excellent food, and very friendly service. I've tried the breakfast tacos, dinner tacos, tostadas, menudo, pazole, etc. The only draw back is they close at 3:00.

Love the food and service is good. It’s a small place, only like 6 tables. This is our new weekend spot we’ve been looking for since El Charrito closed years ago. When going, keep in mind this is Mexican food, not Tex-Mex.
