Pizzeria Don Lisander - COMO

When we received a non- translated menu, I thought we were in for an authentic Italian treat. One of the more disappointing restaurants during our 3 weeks in Italy. Pizza sauce tasted like plain tomato sauce. Just not good.. Friendly staff.

While seeking shelter from the rain, my group of five friends decided to have coffee and tea at this establishment. However, I regret to inform you that we encountered several issues that left us dissatisfied. Firstly, the beverages we ordered arrived cold, and when we requested for them to be reheated, they were simply microwaved, which compromised their quality. We were disappointed as we expected freshly brewed and properly heated drinks. Furthermore, the olives we ordered were stale and did not meet our expectations. It was surprising to encounter this issue in a country renowned for its quality olives. We believe that the overall quality of the food should reflect the reputation of the cuisine it represents. Moreover, the ice cream we ordered was of poor quality, far from the standards we anticipated, especially considering the country's reputation for its gelato. The flavor and texture did not meet our expectations. To our dismay, we noticed additional charges on our bill that were unexpected. The olives, which were unsatisfactory, were priced at 10 euros, which seemed unreasonably high. Additionally, we were surprised to find a charge of 2 euros per person for seating in what felt like a rather lackluster environment. The breakdown of various taxes on the bill was confusing and did not seem proportional to the services provided. Lastly, I must mention the demeanor of the person handling our payment. Their behavior felt hostile and created an uncomfortable atmosphere during our transaction, which left a lasting negative impression.

Restaurant with good location, very well decorated and with good food Officials with great professionalism

We stopped in for dinner on the spur of the moment and so glad we did. We thoroughly enjoyed the 'old style ' atmosphere, the great service and very nice food at a very reasonable price. The wait staff who appeared to also be the owners were very attentive and could not do enough to make sure we enjoyed our night. Would recommend for a casual, relaxed evening with great music.

We go there almost once a week, they are friendly and the restaurant is nice. Quality good and very good quality pizza.
