Bidrage med feedbackGreat food, we got a cactus pupusa, Pollo Guisado and birria tacos. Also, yummy plantains for dessert. The chicken was so tender as were the veggies. Great for a fall or winter treat similar to a pot roast. Very flavorful. The birria was spicy but very good as well. Everything was great and I will be back! Great! I stopped by here for work, but even though I don't live too far away, I could drive 30 minutes just to come eat here! There is no loud music like other places, A very pleasant atmosphere. I was very satisfied and grateful with their food. ! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I’ve been to this place a couple of times and each time I’ve had issues. Let’s talk about the 1st time. I ordered a huge order a three steak street taco x2 , barria dipping tacos, an a few more items. Didn’t bother to look at the receipt because at the time I was watching as I thought) as she was ringing up everything. Come to find out when I got home. She over charged me about 20$. I instantly called and asked to speak to the manager which I was told they were not in at the time an would call me back. No one called me back and I had to chase them down for my 20$. Then the second time I ate in with my sister and her bf and too an order home for another person who wanted and chicken quesadilla supreme which should come with lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream) beans and rice. Had No chicken only CHEESE.. NO Supreme. Only beans and rice. I immediately called. And asked to speak to the manager. Once again I was told that they are not in and they would call me back.. NEED LESS TO SAY. I never received that call and I am still waiting. I will refuse to spend my money where they can’t get your order right multiple times or over charge you. Watch your receipts people!
My first time in New Brighton and I was so happy that I got to try this restaurant out! I've noticed that not many South/Central American restaurants in the Twin Cities offer complimentary chips and salsa and was pleasantly surprised. I loved the carne asada plate and the Horchata, but what truly won me over were the pupusas. I got the revuelta which is a combination of pork and cheese all covered by a crispy flatbread (for lack of a better term). Would definitely come again!
Authentic food at a great price point. Highly recommend the daily specials, especially the Pollo guisado on Thursdays, the shrimp tacos, pupusas and birria tacos. Free chips and salsa are included with every meal Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
