Hostariola - COLORNO

Stayed one in night in Colorno in our way to Umbria and had dinner with my family here. We struggled a bit finding the restaurant because our GPS and Google maps were taking us 200 m away from where we were staying. In fact we had to drive about 1.8 km further. We finally found it and had a typical starter and then some pasta, the best of the starter was a fresh warm bread (which name I can't remember) and the pasta was very good, nothing better than fresh pasta, wine was good as well! It was also very nice having dinner watching the sunset and the small lake in front of the terrace.

Cozy and relaxing room, spacious tables, friendly staff and prepared, excellent dishes well presented. service not very fast but quality needs its time. good value for money.

Sunday lunch big and plentiful, good cellar, beautiful and irreverent as usual.

Very nice tavern surrounded by greenery and a beautiful pond. the large and very bright structure thanks to the large windows overlooking the lake. great slice served with hot fried cake. good seconds too: we tried the tripe and the stracotto with polenta. to conclude sbrisolona with zabaione and tiramis. warm welcome of the owner, very nice, and very good service from the staff. quality price more than great!

Very characteristic clean room ordered. sausage with super cake. first really gouty dishes and seconds based on tender meat. Really top!
