Praneetha Game Bath Kade - Colombo

I have been going to Praneetha for over 14 years now with my wife and friends. We used to stand on the side of the road to eat there many years ago, but since then it has greatly improved. Even today, I still order most of our lunches from there. Recently, we visited the restaurant with my son and had an excellent lunch. I was planning to call and check what they have for dinner since I am still at the office with my son, but then I noticed some fake comments online. I can assure you that Praneetha is the best place for lunch and dinner in Colombo.

The staff at this restaurant are unhelpful and serve whatever curries they feel like. The food is also bland and overpriced.

I visited this restaurant for the first time today. They charge 350 Rs for lunch and an extra 50 Rs to choose curries. The servings of each curry are very small, with the drumsticks curry having very little meat on the drumsticks. The pork curry consisted mostly of pieces of fat. It is disappointing to see places like this that cheat customers out of their hard-earned money. The restaurant prominently displays religious statues, which makes their dishonesty even more shocking. I will never eat here again. For 400 Rs, they offer a meal with 3 vegetables and meat (without malum or sambol), but there are other restaurants like Rasa Bojun or Ape Kade that provide much better quality food and larger portions.

Ordered Rice and Duck curry thro Pick Me. Delivery was delayed by Pick Me. The Duck curry was delicious. The manioc curry, dhal curry ,the greens and fried vegetables were very good.

ONLY I mean it ONLY if you are able to eat spicy food you you have to visit this place.The food is undoubtedly great. You have Sea Food all the Meat items. You can dine in or take away.The place is usually packed since the food is hotly served.
