First ever visit to any Checkers. We considered it a success and will be back We visited before noon on a weekend. So, we may have been the first customers of the day. With two separate lanes, the drive-in was confusing for a first-timer (and the intercom didn't work on the side I picked). The window/cashier area of the side I chose looked to be full of construction equipment supplies. So, the worker didn't have an easy time getting to the window. We ordered ahead using the app. I felt the app was difficult to get through and I felt it was too intrusive. We struggled to get through the menu because we didn't know what everything was. The one worker we spoke to was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. He went over our order to make sure we would get what we thought/wanted, adjusting where needed. The food was prepared quickly and properly. Both cold and hot things were at expected temperature levels and tasted as expected. The funnel cake fries were wonderful but needed more powdered sugar.
Cashier/manager latina took my order wrong. I've asked for a large lemonade... edited: went again and cashier was on her phone the whole time ... 9/25 11.04p
I went here on the 26th of 9 months, 2023 at 7 o'clock in the evening and I came in 14 minutes to get the customer's package. I waited for 15 minutes in this restaurant, which appeared on the shelf at the minute and was ready to open the window only in half a minute. Four staff appeared inside but only one person working Drive The tour is working. The window is reserved for the package. No one comes to the order window and looks. Even though they see us, they don't ask anything. Let's ask why these people came here. We knock on the window. They hear, but they don't hear. We say it loudly so they can hear. Look here. We are eating. If anyone sees a customer outside the window, they run to the kitchen. I mean, they are tired of this job, they should be sent away completely. These people, who are paid with the customer's money, are disrespecting the customer. If I were the boss, I would not stop them there for even a minute. Let the employee come. There is a lady there. I don't know if she is helpful or what. Her eyes can't see, her ears can't hear, she just talks about the employee. If you can't do this package job, please don't keep people waiting and don't take orders. Just work for Driver Tur, all of you, or go and sleep at home. The boss will send you your wages. Since you are useless, go and sleep at home. Why are you keeping people waiting with people's money? I think the employees think that the place where they work is a bus stop.
My experience I had with eating at checkers was wonderful the food was great and the cashier the employees was very nice. If you are ever in the DMV area or any checkers please try the soft chocolate chip cookie brownie. Oh my goodness it was sooooooooooo delicious
