Applebee's Grill - Coldwater

This is your typical Applebee. Something under staff. The food was typical not to fry. The staff was very nice. I just wish someone would move the carpet into the entrance so that the door didn't snap on it. The inside door would stand open and any employee who went past could not be disturbed to close it, which means every time the outside door was opened, a rush of cold air and the sound of Hwy12 did a good one. Probably go to Taco Bell next time. They are great and close their doors.

We originally came from Indiana, but we were disappointed to find that our local Applebee's had limited hours. So, we decided to call the Applebee's in Coldwater, and they had regular hours. The extra 20-minute drive turned out to be well worth it! Our server, Olivia, was one of the best I've ever had. She had a fantastic sense of humor and created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The manager on duty, whose name I unfortunately didn't catch, was also incredibly friendly. And, of course, the food was amazing—hot and delicious! With such great food and people, what more could you ask for? P.S. Applebee's, please give Olivia a raise; she certainly deserves it!

The location is quite good, at least until Applebee's moves out. My main issue during my last visit was that the music was excessively loud and not particularly family-friendly. While it wasn’t a deal breaker, it felt a bit off during dinner with my wife and daughter. Aside from the music that night, this restaurant was better than average compared to others—though I can’t claim to be a regular at Applebee's, so it's hard to say for sure. I must commend our server, Rebecca, who was absolutely fantastic. She was friendly, approachable, and very attentive to all our needs.

On February 10, 2022, I dined at the Coldwater Applebee's for a Valentine's Day dinner, and it was the best experience I could have hoped for. The food was delicious, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the general manager was exceptional. She handled a difficult situation with a loud customer perfectly. At the end of the night, I requested to speak with her to apologize for the behavior of that customer, and she was so gracious. She assured me that we made her night, acknowledging that such incidents are part of the industry, though she wished they wouldn’t happen. I really commend her for the way she managed everything. It was such a pleasant experience, and we will definitely be returning!

I'm not sure why this Applebee's has such low reviews. We had excellent service, and the food was enjoyable. It's one of the better Applebee's I've been to.
