Bidrage med feedbackWe were in clermont several times and always stick to this wonderful place. good variety on the menu, there is always something, also for my picky 10-year-old and generous selection of local wines and regional delicacies for me and mine. thanks to the...warm hospitality of the chef, who is also the owner of the place and the hostess, we feel most greeted each time. definitiw recommended for authentic experience and will be back safe!
It is a very pleasant place with good eating and a quiet environment to enjoy a meal. also beautiful the wine offer.
It was lucky that we arrived so soon after the afternoon, because only when he saw that my view of disappointing le patron showed to madame that we could have the last remaining table for two right next to the toilets of course! but what, a great lunch we had at the time. the house terrine was excellent. served with home made relishes, like my wife's tartare de sauman, a generous help, served on a disc or two of smoked salmon. she followed with scallops 'the best I eat 'and I with tartare de boeuf. we have washed with a bottle of an excellent 'doc mix of chardonnay and viognier, and an excellent local ardeche gamay we were on holiday! . as so often in France, the rather harsh outer hides a restaurant where the cooker entertains native and friends, with only the occasional visitor. but next time we won't have a chance, we'll book.

It was fortunate that we arrived so soon after noon, since only when he saw my look of disappointment did le Patron indicate to Madame that we could have the last remaining table for two - right next to the toilets of course! But what a great lunch we then had. The house terrine was excellent. served with home-made relishes, as was my wife's tartare de sauman, a generous helping, served on a slice or two of smoked salmon. She followed with scallops ('the best I've eaten') and I with tartare de boeuf. These we washed down with a bottle of an excellent 'dOc blend of chardonnay and viognier, and a superb local ardeche gamay (we were on holiday!).As so often in France, the rather scruffy exterior conceals a restaurant where the chef-patron entertains locals and friends, with only the occasional visitor. But next time we'll take no chances, we'll book.
