River Hill Grill - Clarksville

Had a 86. Birthday dinner for Mom, left the waiter $85 on $370 bill and asked for a piece of cake for Mom. The owner said no to my wife because we hadn't asked earlier. I would have paid the dessert, and I would have left it happy enough. We sang happy birthday to Mom without dessert and left, but this left acidic owner left a very acidic taste with me this 1 star is a birthday present, but I do not expect this place to last long if this is their way to do business?. The old saying is penny wise/pound stupid?.

Great food and atmosphere especially for a local pub. Great place to sit at a table or belly to the bar

Service was friendly and timely. We just ordered apps, but everything we had was great! Pomegranate margarita was also good

Excellent food, great portions, very pleasant. GREAT Vibe. Both interior and exterior seats. Variety of beer and wine. The food was excellent and very fresh. Prices are appropriate for the great portions. I'm definitely back here. I'll recommend it to many of my friends.

So we come to River Hill Grill often. My 9 year old son was wanting to pay for me for Father's Day. He had a crisp $100 bill given to him but his aunt a couple days ago that he was going to use. My girlfriend ended up treating so he could keep his money. Unfortunately, he accidentally left the $100 bill on the seat and we went home. He asked me to call the next afternoon, I did, thinking the chances were really slim that we would ever see it again. I called and left a message saying what happened to the hostess. She said she would pass the message along to the manager. About 2 hours later the manager called me and told me they had the $100. He said they saw it when the were clearing off the table and figured it was an accident. 5 stars is not enough and they've acquired a frequent customer for life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
