Mex 1 Coastal Cantina

Haven't had them in years…moving back soon and mex 1 is first place on list. I live in AZ now and you would think they would have good Mexican food but it's blah!

Came here for the first time to have dinner for my daughter’s 15th birthday. I have been a loyal Taco Boy regular for years now, so I wasn’t really expecting to be impressed. But my daughter had been given a gift card to Mex1 and it was where she wanted to go. We were greeted kindly as soon as we came through the door, and sat at a tall table with bar stool chairs. They want almost $20 for a quesadilla and $7 for small tacos now… this is stupid for Mexican on top of it… we liked going her but not worth it now.

Been many times. Love some of their dishes but man the prices seem high now compared to other Tex mex places in the area. It makes it hard to justify sometimes, service can either be a hit or miss.

Nice place, good employees…but holy smokes their prices are high for the food you get. A small quesadilla is $16? Tacos start at $5? Definitely overpriced.
