I 've been to Pong 's twice now and both experiences were the same. Bad. The owner(? of this establishment is incredibly snappy and acts as if he doesn 't want customers at all. They used to have customizable ramen in the past, but they don 't have that option anymore. When we asked where their ramen went (because they weren 't on the menu anymore , he pointed behind us so we turned around to find cup ramen on their shelves. So don 't come here anticipating ramen. Their food is just okay (not that great , but in addition to the owner(? 's attitude, the place is practically begging for customers to stay away. Eat here at your own discretion...
Tried this place today and was excited about all the options! Ended up with pork udon and a Sapporo, I will be back and would like to try the other items on the menu like the jalapeño poppers or a mixed drink! Stop in you won't regret it
I've long been a fan of this place, but it's fallen off the cliff lately. What people said about the guy at the register is true: he seems ornery, like he doesn't want customers at all. I like the way he points you to the friggin' gas station when you need to pee, waiting for your food. Nice. At least the food used to be good. But that stopped last time too--soggy, oily waffle fries that he clearly just reheated in the microwave. Oh well. Another COVID casualty. Was nice knowing you Pong's.
The ramen I got from here was very flavorful and the portions are great. I would recommend Pongs to everyone.
