Gene's - City of New York

I'm originally from Maine and stopped in spontaneously after my art show reception. Welcoming environment and good food!

After a more than 60-minute late flight, we sped walked to Gene 's. They were so gracious, professional and warm even though we were those people who come in with 45-minutes before close. The wine service, table service, ambiance, and food are top notch. Highly recommend. If you must be those people, be quick and tip 50%.

Friendly service, great old school italian-American food, old time restaurant feel.

This meal was one of the best! I had the chicken marsala, and it DELIVERED. The staff was very attentive without being overbearing. It left like an authentic Italian experience and I would definitely go back. Period.
