Absolutely the nuts Oysters are brilliant salad beef sandwich best I had for 30 years. I could go on and on, but if you're in the south, you have to try.

A normal pub experience. Unfortunately, 4 of us visited the seafood Shack in the hope of some great seafood and a good night as it was on a bucket list for one of our groups. After ordering our drinks and classification, we... via seafood menus and was told that the seafood snack has recently changed owners and chefs and no longer offers fresh seafood. The menu is the same as the Thomas Tripp Pub with the only difference table service. The food was okay, nice, but not as expected. The staff tried their best, but obviously the new owners must tell people that they no longer serve seafood. I suggest that the staff will tell guests how to sit before they order drinks so that we can make a sound decision about staying or walking. We were also charged for desserts, we ordered 3 single pots of ice cream and were charged for 3 servings of 3 pots of ice cream if we had logically charged for a part of ice cream. we realized a few days later when checking the receipt. Overall, a decent but expensive pub night outside, but no longer a seafood restaurant. You should update your website and social media to reflect this. We won't be back. And we would suggest to the guests to check and pay their menu and before booking.

We visited Seafood Shack at Thomas Tripp Pub last night for birthday dinner and we were absolutely impressed! The beach decoration made us feel so relaxed, the service was attentive, especially Sheila, who was fabulous. My partner and I had the warm...sharing plate and it was huge! Delicious fish, it was so fresh with light dough! We have very high standards for food and the Seafood Shack really deserves a great review. We had a wonderful time and booked to go back!

Can't service the staff, but they have great problems in the kitchen. Friday night for dinner. The appetizers, Tempoura vegetables very nice, quantity of whitebait disappointing, quality disappointing. Mainly we ordered the hot seafood shakers, Mussels like rubber,...Calamari like rubber, quality of the fish poor. I would say that every element was a frozen product. They seemed overwhelmed by the crowd of people in the pub. Starters took over forty minutes. The back table was offered a free bottle of wine, as their order was delayed. Such a shame like the decor etc is brilliant, but the food is the worst I had in years.

Last night tried The Seafood Shack for the first time, the service provided by Matt was amazing. The food was gorgeous, we shared a starter sized mussels to start with, this was a perfect size and very tasty, main course we opted for steak ...beautiful! The atmosphere was perfect, we were placed inside and had a huge table for the 2 of us. Matt made us feel very welcome and ensured we had everything we needed and checked that our food was ok. Very surprised to hear it was his first night, you would never of known that. We will definitely be returning again soon.
