Bidrage med feedbackCute place with ample Outdoor seating. On a Sunday At 1:00 in early June the male host/server, seemed to have what we call in the seasonal restaurant industry, “August-itis.” As a 30+ restaurant veteran, I’d say half of the tables were filled, if that. Not exactly ‘in the weeds.’ It’s as if to say, that at the opening of the ‘season’ he’s already tired, can barely crack a smile And seems encumbered to seat 3 women like he’s doing us a favor. We ordered our meals, 2 primi and 1 entree salad described with chicken, olives, tomatoes and corn, water, wine. In the time our food arrived, no bread yet…, we watched all of the staff as they ‘tripped over’ (and excess service 3 couples of bikers who sat down, obvi friends of theirs, or perhaps glamorized by them as the ‘super cool.’ The 2 primi arrived. No salad. We watched them all serve other tables but couldn’t quite complete our order. We waited 10 minutes for the sad excuse of a salad with a few pieces of canned corn, olives from a can (really? In this area??? unripe tomatoes and several pieces of-wait for it—deep fried chicken as in like chicken Macnuggets. Not only do they need a lesson in “it’s the service business” so best you try and serve ALL guests, but they also need to do much better in the entree Salad department or perhaps remove it. It can’t be that hard. I would not rush to eat there.
We where at an monday evening and there was no pizza, but it was on the menu! Beside that the people was not nice…
We choose the restaurant because of the location on the edge of the village offering an outstanding view on the valley. I must say that this is the only attraction of the restaurant, specially on the small terrace by the edge of the mountain. We didn't appreciate the service and the long time we had to wait even though there were available tables. The food was standard, I wouldn't recommend at all the sauciges... nice pasta though. Acceptable value for money.
Eat in this restaurant at lunch outside, overlooking the valley. taken Tuscan appetizer, fries and stuffed focacce. excellent food, fresh meat and tasty, as well as focacce. a sin the service. slow and distracted quatrain ordered of wine, never arrived, then you opt for a small, never arrived beer. happens, young staff and full restaurant, but repeat, very good food
If we want not to go to the sea, we decided to have lunch in a hilly village and we chose chiusdino. we ate and drink beautifully, we will definitely return. Sincere congratulations.
