Booked through open table and got told by blue bore they dont do online bookings so had no booking also on blue boars website it didnt say you could only have a 3 course meal and not the normal menu so went else were .seemed like the boy had no clue about the place at all

When we first walked we thought oh no as everyone turned and looked at us, but once when moved through the pub to the dining area we felt more at ease. The staff were polite and easy to speak to. The food was very good quality pub grub . We had the starter platter then the blue boar burger. The starter was plenty for four people so nice big portion for the 2 of us. The burger was nice with plenty of chips and salad. Note if you like your meat well done then I would ask for well done. Will go again.

We were given a very small table for our party of4 who had pre booked, even smaller than two parties of 2!! My Duck meal was poor, duck was tough, sauce was watery, and tasteless. Other meals were OK. Massive portions, but not great. So disappointing after the reviews we had seen! The girl serving us was clearly inexperienced, and not very attentive, we had to chase her to take our order, and if we wanted anything, Overall, very disappointed, we won't be back!
