Luisa's Swedish Bakery Market

My husband and I went to Luisa 's Cafe for breakfast when we were in the area. The cafe is small just 4 5 tables inside. The service was very good. I had the carrot cake waffle. It was huge and was made in a Belgian waffle iron. Very tasty with a touch of cinnamon. I finished it which I questioned when I first saw it. I didn 't feel overstuffed when I was done. My husband had 2 Buckwheat Swedish pancakes. These were huge, as well. They overlapped the plate. He was glad that he didn 't get 3. They were nicely seasoned and came with syrup and loganberry compote. He was well satisfied. We also stopped in the bakery to purchase some snack 's for the road. A very nice selection of Danishes, strudels, various varieties of bread, and cookies. Everything we got was delicious. Limited parking.

Most beautiful cafe and bakery with the friendliest welcome. Was so lovely to meet you Vivian, thank you for letting us try the delightful Cannoli too. I had oatmeal with dried cherry’s and the Swedish pancakes were a hit and the carrot cake waffle

I talked to the owner and unfortunately her Cafe may not open this year. The bakery remains open but the great Cafe is currently closed.

Such wonderful food! We tried the Raspberry Coffee Cake, Apple Strudel, Chocolate donuts, Sprinkled donuts, Cinnamon Donuts Blueberry muffins, Carrot Cake muffins and blueberry scones Wowza! Raspberry coffee cake took the cake! the only thing that could have made it better would have been if it had been a raspberry cheese coffee cake combo (that's my fav) I probably could have ordered it ahead as a custom and probably will next time I'm in Sawyer! Coffee was good too! They have authentic sauerkraut too which is awesome!
