I typically do the restaurant choosing, but sometimes I concede to letting the husband choose He found this place. I read the very mixed reviews and was torn but decided why the heck not, it's a **** shoot, let's see what happens. This led to me being pleasantly surprised. We sat in the back room (banquet room). The bar area had more people, which meant it was louder, and the AC was turned up, glad I chose the quieter back room. As for the food, he ordered the polish plate and I had the Rueben. I asked for sweet potato fries with mine. It came with regular fries, but thankfully our server realized almost immediately and brought out the other ones. My only complaint about my food was there seemed to be no sauerkraut on it and IMO, a Rueben should have a lot of kraut. Thankfully it was otherwise very yummy. I tried everything on husbands plate and liked it all. We asked for a dessert menu and waited, and waited for over ten minutes. Finally when the server came back, still without it, we said nevermind and got our bill. Glad we took the chance on this place.

Went to dinner Saturday with the family had a wonderful experience. Everyone was very welcoming from the minute we walked in. First off we ordered the special martini which was the brownie martini it was incredible. I ordered the vegetable rice bowl and added pan seared scallops my dinner was amazing. My daughter got the swordfish with asparagus and my daughter's fiancé ordered the fried chicken sandwich which looked amazing and he said it was great! We had a very nice server I would definitely recommend for lunch or dinner. They also specialize in polish items their pirogies are to die for. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it's well worth the visit.

It's Sunday night and we were looking for a place to dine. I hadn't been to The Collegian Court since the new management took over, quite a while back. We arrived at the restaurant at 6:40 p.m. and were asked if we were dining in, which we were. We were told to take any seat we liked in the front of the restaurant. After waiting a few minutes, the server came out and told us that they'd closed the kitchen for the night... but would we like to stay for drinks instead? Ummm... my children are 18, not drinking age, so I told her we were there for dinner. She apologized... and the funny thing was the wait staff behind her with a giant carafe of water to fill our glasses. Obviously that was unnecessary as we grabbed our coats and headed for the door. So I'm unable to rate the food but was highly disappointed being turned away for dinner. I haven't rushed to go there, as mentioned, since they reopened and am not planning heading there again any time soon. Total failure!

It 's been around for more or less 50 years, and we pretty much fell in love with this unpretentious gem at first sight. Gotta give Yelp credit, we found it because of Yelp. Yes, it shows some wear and age like the dated dark wood paneling, the worn carpet, and the pastel ceramic tiles in the restroom. But remember that great old song about not judging a book by its cover. Our server, Erin, was a treasure. Funny, kind, personable, informative, and super efficient. I overheard her carding a group of young ladies at an adjacent table and complimented one on how pretty she looked in her driver 's license picture. I asked her about the Polish dishes on the menu, and she absolutely beamed when she said they have a little old Polish lady in the back that cooks everything from scratch. When you walk in, you enter the bar, but keep walking into the dining room. There was a huge baby shower party in the smaller room to the right, and we were seated in the larger room to the left. Our lunch ran just $26 for a huge Turkey Club sandwich $8.99) and my Petite Polish Plate $12.99) with homemade Kapusta, one golumpki, 2 pierogis, a big kielbasa slice and some marble rye. My lunch was absolutely delicious. Kapusta is a mild type of soft sauerkraut with tiny pieces of kielbasa. I could have had a big bowl of it, it was that good and was definitely the best sauerkraut I have ever had. The golumpki Stuffed Cabbage) was massive, loaded with meat, and tasted great. The two pierogis were filled with a buttery cheese potato mixture and fried to a slight crunch. It just kept going on and on. The kielbasa slice was perfect, not too greasy, not too strong, just perfect. The plate had two great finishing touches two half slices of thick marble rye and a container of what looked like mayonnaise but turned out to be an amazing mustard that was so good it should have been a controlled substance. This was comfort food to the max. The Collegian Court is simple and down to earth in every way. You 'll love this place, believe me. And they even have a Frequent Diner card after ten visits, your next one is on the house. Ask for Erin, by the way, she was outstanding.

Decent place to grab a meal and drinks. The inside could use a good remodel, but there is plenty of room indoors, a large bar and also an outdoor patio. They have Polish, Italian American dishes. The wings and the fish chips were pretty good. Next trip, I think I'll try the Polish food!
