The best food and culinary experience of my life. was it expensive? not worth it. I would pay 10x and never regret a cent. chef shields and his team have created through their eating and atmosphere magic
The smyth delivered excellent and inventive food in a comfortable environment. eating was inventive with ingredients and flavor combinations I would not have expected. a disappointment; I felt that the service was immaculate. when we had set ourselves first, they supplied me with glittering water after I had ordered water, and the service was similarly removed from the rest of the meal. this was regrettable, especially on my expectations. still great for the special occasion and it seemed like the service for some of the other groups was more consistent.
Came here for our jubilee dinner, and it was not disappointed. the kitchen even gave us a personally signed card that was a nice note.
Simple yet complex seafood dishes. The restaurant features open kitchen, which you can enjoy the show by master chefs. The atmosphere is relatively casual compared to restaurants with similar distinctions. A feel dishes are directly presented by the chef directly. I was amused when a chef said, what is better than caviars? More caviars! The presentation is simple yet the taste is rich and creative. I love the caviar, mussel and oyster.Their main course is also quite impressive. 90 day dry aged steak and plum sauced eel. I also recommend the wine pairing. It works well with food. Beverage pairing is also quite interesting.
