NYE left a lot to be desired we booked a table before the $20 cover was marketed, and then it was issued on our tab when we closed out... which is fine, considering its a live entertainment venue on NYE. However, the entertainment was not conducive to a fun celebration night.. the piano player took 2 min dead air pauses between every song and between him and the *DJ* the song September was played 3 times in 1 hour. Followed by the Macarena ...played in it 's entirety... and We Are Family played 2x... not exactly what people want to party to, let alone on New Year 's Eve. Room cleared out by 12:10am. The Staff is amazing here and the piano show is usually pretty professional and great, but just a lot of missed opportunities on New Year 's Eve. Do You remembah?...

The Sparkling Gem of Chicago’s Piano Bars. Every visit to GG is always memorable and amazing. My friend and I went to GG this past Saturday for a girls night. I made a reservation with a special request to be near the piano, and we both felt like VIP’s with our experience that night. All the staff here are always polite and attentive. Extra appreciation to Cecil for his kindness and service. Katy and Chris were the phenomenal piano players for our evening. Just some of the immensely talented musicians that GG is saturated with every night.

Went here on a Thursday night for a few drinks it was cute, it's very 1920s themed and the music really makes you feel like your going back in time! Great for a date night post dinner place for drink!

Very vibey, good selection of whiskey, scotch and bourbon in addition to wine and cocktails. Live piano is unique but be ready to spend a pretty penny on your song request. For one drink it’s around $17-20, so plus food it’s not the most affordable but it’s fun with a group.
