Bidrage med feedbackThis tiny restaurant is a hidden gem! The owner describes every dish in perfect English. The food is so delicious and every dish has a unique flavor from northern Thailand! I ate here everyday they were open on my trip! Bomb
The owner thoroughly explained the menu and showed us every item that is vegan. The dish was plated beautifully. A lot of thought goes into these recipes. We got the hung Kay curry and the Burmese crispy tofu salad. Omg. It was so flavorful. The salad is a must try. One of my favorite dishes I’ve tried. We weren’t 100% full after sharing these two entrees because the portion is very small, but I could see it being a reasonable portion if you aren’t too hungry or if you get 3 entrees for 2 people. Salad- 100 baht Curry- 180 baht (we got the more expensive option with naan) Updated from previous review on 2023-08-27
I wish I could give this place 10 stars. It’s a small restaurant where the friendly owner who speaks great English comes up to explain the menu and immediately asks about dietary restrictions. She listed off the vegan options what can be made vegan and there are plenty to chose from. I got the Burmese chickpea tofu salad and it was not only the best thing I’ve tried in my month in Thailand but one of the most flavorful and unique things I’ve tried ever!! I ordered a second one to go on the spot and so did my meat-eating partner. I got a traditional curry too which was also delicious, as well as homemade bergamot soda. Everything was delicious and the owner was so kind and attentive!! Absolutely check this place out.
Took two tries to get a seat here; the second time we came for an early dinner and didn’t have to wait too long. The owner was able to recommend dishes that were vegan/could be veganised and we ended up choosing more local ones: a curry and chapati dish, and a mushroom dish that you build yourself with lettuce as a wrap which was fun. Service was fairly quick.
I really don’t understand why when I ask for no spicy options they make it 2 times spicier All the spice just kills the taste of food and I’m very disappointed that even though the owner speaks perfect English I still get hella spicy dishes. Keep in mind that the place is very small and in the evening there are no free seats #Veganuary
