Bidrage med feedbackThe Jay food was delicious! There were a few options to choose from, including mock meat and vegetable dishes. The person working there did not speak English, but was very friendly when I communicated in my limited Thai. The interior is somewhat ashamed, and you hear the sound of the street, but the food is good. Bearing in mind that this is one of the only listings in Chiang Dao, it is worth visiting if you are in the area.
I'm so grateful for this Jay run in Chiang Dao. Usually I don't really like the taste of Jay food, but this is completely different as I tried before. I saw three women working there and they were so friendly. We used Google Translate for help in communication: all meals are so cheap. They also sell some different snacks/chips only for 10BHT.
I came to the first tone today and had the noodle soup that was super good! It came with cabbage, bamboo sprouts, large noodles (small alao possible), chopped soya and mushroom balls. Big part and only 30 Baht! The owner, an old woman and a young girl, (I appreciate mother and daughter) are super friendly and welcoming! They don't speak much English, but they know how to translate google, so communication is no problem. Will definitely come back the next days! There is a picture of a Google translation of the Thai menu, but I don't know how exactly that is. When I asked about Curry, they didn't. They definitely also have Pad Thai, as well as rice dishes. See my other pictures coming next days to see what I discovered from the cryptic menu
We paid 100TB for 2 persons... this included fresh egg noodles with tomato-eggplant broth and mushroom balls, roasted tofu, 3 rolls vegetarian minced meat with lemongrass and a diving sauce. Everything was really delicious. The lady doesn't speak English, but she was so kind. Updated by previous review on 2022-12-04
No English. But they do a filling and quick soup, and their dipping sauce is amazing! Will stop here every time I’m in Chiang Dao
