Coming from a coffee brat…. LITERALLY…. I am not a Dunkin girl, I’m not a Star Bucks girl…. I’m a find a hole in a wall coffee roaster spot girl. I have been to this cute little spot many times. The atmosphere is always pleasant, even if there is a big group of people. This shop seems to attract really down to earth, kind individuals. The owner is brilliant when it comes to ideas for his drinks. He is very friendly and easy to talk to, as well as the staff. This place comes up with some pretty cool ideas. Keep thinking outside of the box, I will continue to come and enjoy anything and everything you make. PS the ham and Swiss cheese croissants are to die for. I’m someone who can get stuck on a specific coffee if I really like it. Here there is always something new jumping at me, and the staff will guide you too I really like that I came in one day exhausted, I work crazy hours at a nursing home down the road and I told the Dakota the owner , I wanted a hot coffee but he directed me to a drink that will wake me up, and make me feel good. Sure enough it was the best coffee hands down I have ever had. It was so good I couldn’t put it down. Thank you Dakota I hope I’m spelling it correctly thank you to all the staff for being so warm and welcoming. Coming from a woman who finds it hard to be in public because I am so awkward and uncomfortable… and have such bad anxiety…. You always make me feel at ease and at peace!

Reviewing is not my style, but I'm leaving this one.The coffee is excellent and the customer service is excellent.This place is definitely recommended for those who are looking for a good cup of coffee.

Absolutely adorable coffee shop; great place to stop over if you're doing an upstate trip. Coffee was good was a bit bitter.

I go out of my way to stop by Valkyrie every time I’m in the area! Dakota the crew really care about the drinks they make, and the cafe is so welcoming when you need somewhere to park for some coffee shop work. (You’ll laugh out loud at the WiFi password! There is as much thought put into their drinks menu as a high end cocktail bar puts in theirs do not skip their seasonal drinks!Grab a bag of beans on your way out. Delicious carefully roasted single origin coffee for every palate.

What a local gem! You can tell coffee is their passion and they come up with some really interesting creations. I love trying their new seasonal drinks and they are Happy to explain anything on the menu. They are very knowledgeable! Easy to grab a drink to go if you are headed for a walk on the nearby heritage trail or a post walk treat. I most recently enjoyed the cosmic Lemonade ?
