Saffron Indian Takeaway - Chessington

One of the three local Indians we regularly use. delivery is very efficient and food good. prawns are far larger than they come elsewhere.

Have used this place about 20 times and it is always tasty, consistent in quality and very good value (particularly if you order with the discount from the site. They are always courteous with the delivery and even the time estimates for the delivery are pretty accurate (not always the case). I would highly recommend this takeaway.

We were looking for a methi chicken equivalent locally compared to Midlands and I was blown away by the taste. I absolutely loved this dish, the masala was just right, not too spicey and chicken succulent. Only thing is that the sauce had some sugar in it as its a pre made sauce as my husband is diabetic so next time will order without but I am fine with it as it is. I will definitely be ordering from Saffron again and become a regular.

We had a takeaway from here which was decent quality and the delivery was nice and quick. We had a lamb pasanda, lamb korai plus other sides. All pretty tasty though it was a shame that whilst the naan was nice and soft, it was meant to have cheese in but didn't have any!

Sitting here with quarter eaten curry. The Nan is like a sawdust it is so stale and tasteless The chicken is more like leather chewy and tough as old boots and the coconut rice doesn't taste like coconut. Waited an hour for food to be delivered less than a minute from the shop by car. Had a very long day and needed food and didnt' want to cook, now too late to bother with anything else and lighter in the pocket as well. So disappointed as previous orders have been fab. Time to find a new curry house.
