Bidrage med feedbackThere are many pools, hot and cold, and a variety of seats. There are several saunas, both dry and steamy. The massage was amazing. The only thing I saw in other spas would be plastic bags in the dressing rooms for wet swimsuits.
I have been a regular visitor of the Nordik Spa nature in Chelsea for 16 years. It was always such a pleasure to come here, whether planned in an advanced or last minute decision. Things have just changed since the quality of the service has decreased. For beginners we understand the requirement for reservations for busy days, but since we decided to be spontaneous and come on a day that was not busy at all, we thought it would be okay. A nice employee at the door let us know that, as it was not busy, we could just go to the counter to make reservations. Immediately when I went to the counter, the employee there began to give us grief about not making a reservation and repeated "a reservation is obligatory" about three times, then went on to make the booking anyway, but say that we had saved a lot of time differently. If we look back the only reason why we saved time, it is because it seemed quite difficult for them to work the system, which leads to my phone number being asked three times in total. Finally, when one of the most important facilities is closed, the Nordik staff used to tell the guests this directly at the beginning and to refund them with a voucher. Both steam rooms have been closed today and we have not been informed yet reimbursed.
I loved this place. This was my first visit here and it exceeded my expectations. I can't comment on the massages or treatments because I didn't use them. I was late at the booking so missed on it. The delightful sauna sessions were good, my favorite was the arboreal experience. There are a variety of saunas, pools and relaxation areas. The food and beverage areas are all good and offer a variety of tastes.
I don't understand the hype or the cost of this place. Half of the facilities are closed, but you still pay the full price $107 for access. Everything from towels to napkins costs money... You don't accept cash. Facilities are moderate, small, many design features that make some areas unusable or inaccessible. The numerous water properties make the place quite loud between the sounds of spraying and all pumps. No WiFi access for customers, but there are three for employees and VIPs. The staff was generally unpleasant and the safety has no concept of personal space. Once you enter, you can not leave what makes the payment for an entry seem like a trap not a service. I'm sorry to be hard, but I find the same services for 1/4 of the price with a much better experience.
Wonderful place. It is so lovely to be there and enjoy the relaxing saunas and pools. And the food at the restaurant was out of this world! I will definitely be back again!
