La Cabane d'Arthur

We came for the second service on Friday as a party of five. The welcome and service was exceptional due to the excellent food... We will return...thank you!!!!

That's it. Gorgeous sand in the feet rustic beach-taste restaurant with great food and staff. We ate late and we are a party of 8 with 2 children under 12. It was the tapas menu and we were on the table with swings for seats! Great atmosphere. Really good food and an amazing waitress. The time flew and a great time had to drink food and laugh! Can't recommend this place enough. Do not dress or do, Just go and expect You have simple food and a great atmosphere, listen to the waves and your friends! Good night.

We have been holidaying here in Chateau d 'Olonne for the past 3 years and used this beach 'Plage de Tanchet ' which is beautiful without eating at the cabins on the beach until now. We saw the excellent reviews in 'Trip Advisor ' and can confirm 'La...Cabane d 'Arthur is superb, friendly and with views/sounds of the bay and Atlantic Ocean to die for. We arrived early for dinner that should be served from 7:00pm, however they looked after us from arrival '6:30 ' providing a lovely meal and drinks immediately: Beer wine, 6 Oysters each to start (excellent), a Veil main and simple ice cream red fruit source for sweet. They supported our stumbling French and spoke excellent English to help. The Sea was up close and personal with lovely crashing waves and the other dinners created a friendly French environment. We will come here again and have been missing out for the last 3 years until now. Excellent value for money at £30 a head considering beer, wine, Oysters, Veil etc.

We reserved a table for 4 for 7.30 on a Thursday evening, we had a beach side table and the waiter was very friendly and spoke excellent english. We had a pichet of wine, ordered rose but it was white, no problem, great value as...during happy hour. We ordered our entree, one plat of chacuterie, one de la mer,and prefou. We tucked in and it was very good. A large party then arrived and we were ready to order our main course but when we signalled the waiter he said it was not possible as he had a party of 6 booked for 9 and there were no other tables. We were offered to wait until another table became available but as it was already 8.45 we decided to leave. We were looking forward to experiencing the food here with this lovely setting as it was the last night of our vacances. The food we had was very good and freshly made. We thought we had booked our table for the night but obviously this was not the case. A shame.

Very good plan for this little hut without pretention. the welcome is warm, the boards of good quality, the cheese - burger are excellent! He's hiding in this little hut on the beach, a real cook. I strongly recommend this address.
