Top of the Park Restaurant

The portion sizes are very small and the raw vegetables need to be cooked. The clams are edible but overall, the buffet is not worth the price.

We tried a table 3 days ago, but it was sold out so that we just showed up at night, hoping for a cancellation. Within three minutes we arrived a cancellation! Bonus front seats! Double bonus it was...climate (30C outside! It is a 'prix fixe' a deal 5 choices each of starters, main dessert. Not gourmet, but still very good, and very, very good for the price! Cocktails were $7 and one liter decent Pinot Grigio was $32 (we went the 15mins of our AirBnB just so that we could enjoy the drinks. The bill for two came to C$120 with top tax. Excellent value. We didn't put on a dirt, not our thing, but the route provided great entertainment. And for the last race, we hiked down to the dusty, loud trackside race to increase the excitement level. A fantastic evening. We will do it again next year and we will remember to book well in advance!

The service and food at this restaurant were both good. I only have two complaints. First, they only had butternut squash soup and no other options. They should offer at least three soup choices. Second, they need more space for dining as it can get overcrowded at times.

Booked a few weeks ago for 9 August as his birthday and I live away, but come home for a few weeks every summer and up the park is usually where we go for my birthday meal. We have instructed them today to adjust our arrival time. At no point has it ever been mentioned, there is no way to win the entrance to the restaurant without buying a passport to the mediators in all these conversations. So we show how everyone would do that there is a way to get access to the restaurant without coming to the middle or paying. Nope. $12 a person to buy Middle access only to go and to the restaurant. Call them and explain. In order to say that the girl could have cared for less, there was an understatement. The midway gate implicitly implicit the restaurant should tell everyone, but does not bother so that they deal with all the angry and angry people who either decided to add $12 a head to their game or do as we do and leave empty handed. Couldn't worry his girl promised her manager would call me back in 1730 when he arrived. What manager is shown at the exact minute service starts in a busy restaurant?! (Spoiler probably alerts the manager only doesn't care if he was there, but couldn't be disturbed by the phone. Anyway, it's after 8:00 and no sign of the call back to the press. Yeah, thanks for ruining my birthday. I'll never book it again.

This visit was very good. Nice variety of items. All had good flavor and the service was excellent. We ordered a cake as it was my mother's birthday. Sometimes restaurant ordered cakes can be hit or miss but this was a superb cake. A most...enjoyable time.
