Bidrage med feedbackThe atmosphere and menu at this restaurant are excellent. We started with the baby carrots, roasted beets, and brussel sprouts as appetizers, which were all delicious. The drinks from the bar were expertly made, and I especially enjoyed my old fashioned and its presentation. For our main courses, we tried the chickpea falafel and the shrimp enchiladas, both of which were amazing. The coconut rice served as a great side dish. Some of the dishes had a bit of heat, so make sure to inform the staff when ordering. I would definitely recommend The Junction.
I visited this restaurant for Charlottesville Restaurant Week and I'm so happy I did! The atmosphere is relaxed yet Southwest-inspired, and the food is delicious. The lobster and corn fritter appetizer I ordered was fantastic, with light and crispy fritters packed with lobster and a creamy, refreshing sauce. The flourless chocolate cake for dessert was also amazing, like a lava cake with a soft, melted center and a perfect touch of dulce de leche and whipped cream. I highly recommend this place, especially for the Restaurant Week specials!
My friend and I went for brunch and were extremely satisfied. We had a short wait for the host to seat us, but he was friendly, as was our waitress. The huevos rancheros were tasty and the portion size was perfect. I will definitely return!
We loved this place! The whole atmosphere is awesome from the second you walked in. The staff were great to interact with and you could tell they enjoyed being there. We were seated upstairs which had a good view and a great server. We ordered plates to share and drinks. One guest of the group didn't care for her drink and they kindly replaced it free of charge. Now that's great service. The food all came out quickly along with additional drinks. I hope to visit here again next time!
We went for restaurant week and it was our first time there. Spicy fried chicken with cheese grits and Ancho-chili slaw was great! Awesome ceviche too! Drinks could be stronger but still good. Trendy, popular spot in coveted Belmont area of Charlottesville. Latin-fusion.
