Sushi 101 - Charlotte

My 12-yr old boy was craving sushi today. He ordered the Spicy Katsu Chicken Salmon Maki. He said it’s spicy and “freaking” good! Now, he’s looking forward to his next visit!

It's a small gem.. I found this place with my sissy while going to Total Wine.. Now it's mine and my niece's favorite place for sushi. It's the Crispy Bagel, fried rice, and Cali roll for me! Update.. 09/23.. Still me hidden gem! My niece and I now go.

Friendly service. Pretty good food and an excellent atmosphere. I like the atmosphere here because it is more casual than a lot of sushi places, but not so casual that it feels like takeout. It looks like a friendly hangout. I do not live in the area but after my reservation at another place was canceled, I looked for another place nearby. I ate here with six other people and we all had a great time and great food.

Wonderful service! Very attentive and kind. I had the Japanese poppers and seaweed salad as appetizers, they were delicious. Favorite roll was the panhandle roll. Plus GREAT drinking specials ??

Soba noodles. Queen roll. JAPANESE POPPERS!!!! Yes. Yes. And yes to all of these. I stopped in at Sushi 101 because I deserved a treat and I am so happy that I did. It was delicious! And there's onsite parking! I'll definitely be back here. My waitress was very kind and I was attended to by other employees as well. Excellent service! They have a nice atmosphere and it's definitely a vibe for chillin on a cozy night with some close friends or by yourself! Thank you Sushi 101
