Bidrage med feedbackWe ate outside at Al’s burgers in the southern village, near chapel hill today for lunch. it is something about an hour drive from our house, but so it is worth it! I had the bobo chili cheeseburger with senf, chili, slaw (no wobble for me) and fritten. the cheeseburger is “melt in her mouth” tasty with a delicate bungalow, perfect scab and crispy white whistle with wonderful aromatized chili. the whole sandwich keeps together well, which says much for commonly creepy “Carolina” style burger. the pommes were hot, crispy and advised exactly right. also, only on the street is a Gelato Square for a delicious after-burger negotiation.
This place honestly hasn’t been the same since they changed to the smaller patty. The size or price doesn’t bother me, and the staff is always awesome. But in my opinion the previous meat used to taste better and work better with the toppings. I used to be twice a week and have only been back twice since the patty change. Not sure what the cause was im just being honest.
First time eating here.. Friendly staff.Very cute, cozy outdoors set up. Burger was fresh but small. Fries were nice and crisp/fresh but seasoning was different than we are used to.
What makes a good burger? good quality bark meat, perfect set of beats, embedded in a beautiful bungalow. al’s burger shack could be the definition of a big burger! They can taste the fresh of the bark meat and that is actually seasoned that most places are not. they did not exaggerate it with the beats, only the perfect amount to supplement the bark. they end it with the freshest bungalow that tasted as if it were freshened this day. this Umami taste after the first, second and third bites they want more! if they are looking for a big burger, this is a must-have!
Wow! that was one of the best burgers I had, and this is a really cool little place. pretty cheap and the burger was prepared as desired. in any case recommend the mookie burger and al’s burger shack!
