Il Giardino Restaurant - Chapala

I have been couple of times in this restaurant and the first time i asked for a pizza a fly was part of the meal. the waiter just lol and that's it, last time the waiters were ignoring us, they were too busy cleaning the...back yard and us waiting more than 15 mins for them to arrive to the table, they didn't welcome us, did't say hi nothing we left without order nothing, never again in this restaurant. no respect for costumers.

The open, multi-stage setting of this restaurant is very pleasant and I appreciated the very attentive service. my mistake was to order the Gyros sandwich for dinner because (1 I was not super hungry and (2 several previous posters said the gyros were good. ah. mine, not so....What was delivered was essentially a bark taco on pita brot with an unusual swarm of cut black olives and without Greek style seasoned or sauce or feta. nothing like the mouthwater taste of a real gyro, so it was really very disappointing. my margarita was good and maybe if I had ordered something else (pasta, maybe? I would have enjoyed eating. but I didn't and I didn't. take my advice: do not order the “Gyro” if they had the actual thing.

Chicken and bark dishes did not taste fresh (frozen too long? . the service was very slow. beautiful ambiente.

Wonderful experience. love the ambiente, like in a gigantic tree house. our meal was delicious, vacio angus steak with roasted potato and grilled vegetables. excellent price! beautiful surprise was live entertainment and he was very entertaining.

Whenever I've ordered pizza or anything else by phone, they have been most courteous have always gotten my order to me correctly. I notice this year they have a bilingual person on the phone, so even easier... My favorite is their Especial which...has pork sausage, onions, mushrooms, black olives, and more. And be sure to treat yourself to a piece of their wonderful tiramisu! You won't want 2 pieces, once slice is enough for 2 persons... Heavenly! On days when I have been stressed or overworked myself, there's nothing like treating myself to a proper stone cooked pizza pie, just like I like it... with a lovely red wine a slice of Japanese delight. Makes me feel like a queen, and my friends don't object, either.
