Cantine Du Chenail - Chandler

We had dinner at this restaurant before attending Nova Lumina. It is a small canteen on the waterfront with several outdoor dining tables. We were a bit disappointed as the two poutine sauces were not very good and the fries were average. The crab club sandwich was tasty but on the small side. The food was decent overall. However, the service was excellent and the location is fantastic.

Don't hesitate to visit this canteen! The supreme roll is delicious, the homemade brown sauce is amazing, the cheeseburger is excellent, the shrimp salad is amazing, and the poutine is succulent!

One of the best canteens in Quebec! Very friendly, fast and personalized service. The BBQ sauce is very sweet but if it's your first visit trying the half n half poutine is a must!

Very nice canteen! The cashier had outstanding customer service…really friendly and she knows how to recommend the items on her menu to customers. I had a poutine with the mixed sweet BBQ/Hot Chicken pepper sauce and a crab roll! Everything was absolutely tasty except the fries which were too dry and hard! I advise to stop at this canteen because the view, the service and the food are worth it!

First visit to the canteen. The service is excellent, the super roll lobster, shrimp and crab in a peasant bread is delicious! The all-dressed submarine is just as good! And their crispy fries are super good! I recommend this place ?
