Bob Evans - Champaign

The food portions were generous and the prices were reasonable, however, the taste of the food was lacking. The restaurant appeared to be unclean. The wait staff were friendly and even brought us extra biscuits when they noticed our original ones were too hard. Despite their kindness, we ended up with an excessive amount of biscuits, which we declined as we found them to be subpar.

Our server was pretty good, but could have been a bit more attentive. I have visited this Bob Evans restaurant many times and it has always been clean with great food. However, on my most recent visit, there was a strong unpleasant odor and I had to move to a new booth due to a dripping ceiling system. The bacon was undercooked, the homefries were overcooked, and the steak and eggs combo was not cooked to my liking. The gravy was good, but overall, I was disappointed compared to previous visits. I hate to leave a negative review, but it seems that the lack of pride from the employees or management is affecting the quality of the establishment.

I went to this restaurant for breakfast. After placing our order, we waited for over 30 minutes. Even though we were the first customers there, 8 other groups came in after us and received their food before us. We could hear the staff laughing and talking for a while before they brought out our food. The server was intrusive and the food was not tasty. Overall, this is not the place to go if you're looking for quick service and delicious, hot food.

The food was delicious and hot. Server was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was clean. A person in our party did not get their meal with the rest of us. He was a bowl of soup that was appreciated but not expected. Overall a delightful experience!

When in Champaign, Bob Evans is the place to go to breakfast. Eating is always excellent, waiting staff is wonderful and the free Wi-Fi is always a bonus. I always make it a point to visit when in town. I recommend taking a piece of her Strawberry Supreme Pie.
