The hype and Pedigree (Bocuse and Ducasse training) led us to visit this restaurant. Overall, eating was ok and very well presented, but the fine that borders on lack of lust and repainting in aroma/blande. the service was excellent and when I had to return a 2005 grand cru chablis when it was oxidized- it was done without fuss or fanfare and immediately replaced without question by an alternative wine-so 100% for personal training and service maintenance. worth would have been excellent if eating tastier-sadly could not recommend.
For the first time to this part of france, and none of our companions has an idea to choose the resto, simply jump in and expect nothing special. to our surprise it was a great choice. eating and presentation was great, the service good and very. friendly staff for foreigners who help us to know more about the French cuisine, about the different methods of cooking and the different between a part of france to another. the resto is located only in the city center and has a wider view during the meal.
I went many times to l'atelier and had great experience in that restaurant. But recently, I went there for business with 2 German colleagues on a Tuesday evening . Unfortunately, that evening there is No a la carte diner, but just a tapas menu... Which...could be seen as a great thing. But those Tapas are a mixed of different flavors, prepared without care, not a fresh food... So very disappointing for our table
After walking through the Saturday market we found this great restaurant for lunch. Lovely entrecôte and a fish risotto, followed by a plate of sorbets. 64 euros for 3 adults, 2 courses each. The chef came out and asked what we thought, always a good...sign. Generous portions. Recommended.
