Bidrage med feedbackIf you're in Allentown, this is a great place to dine in. Not so fancy from the outside but once you step in, it's kind of cool. You feel like you're in Damascus. Food was excellent, freshly served but the pita was a bit hard otherwise everything was good. Their Baklava was delicious.
Going from Boston to Shenandoah we found Allenstown Pennsylvania was a perfect half way point to stop and stretch our legs. My boyfriend is obsessed with falafel, so I wanted to try the best reviewed falafel in Allenstown and it lived up to its reputation. This was by far the best baba ganoush ever, and the hot peppers in my sandwich was AMAZING! (Up north they only add pickled turnip but I am team hot pepper 110% highly recommended the food here.
Not worth visiting and the dishes range from mediocre to inedible, so I wont be back. The place is a bit run down and smells, which would be fine if the prices weren't high. Spreads, salads, and pita are ok. Everything else is pretty vile. Vegetables and meat taste old. Even the rice is undercooked and tastes off.
Excellent Mediterranean food! Loved the Kibbeh and the Kaftah! They offered us Shankleesh on the house and it was amazing! Great food and great hospitality! Thank you!
First time trying this place and we enjoyed our food. Great flavor! I would definitely go back.
