Tonto Grill - CAVE CREEK

We decided to go there for a party we were hosting. We wanted to be able to talk to our guests but almost as soon as everyone was seated, a bunch of people near the bar were incredibly loud. We actually all got up and moved to a table further away- still obnoxiously loud but fortunately 4 of them left. Not what we expected. Don't think we'll host a party there again.

How have we never had Mary as our server here before? What a delight from rearranging tables, to menu suggestions, and smart wit we enjoyed her from beginning to end. Oh and the food was great, as usual. She managed to get me to order something other than Walleye (my fav! , and I thoroughly enjoyed the flat iron steak special. Everyone enjoyed thier entrees. I must have said it was both gals birthdays on our reservation and a lovely mousse arrived for each of us, complete with candle and decoration. A lovely end to the meal. Highly recommend Tonto and Mary!

We love the Tonto Grill, it is a go to for our routine and for out of town visitors. We had one meal come out 20 minutes after the other three were served. The meal was “the special” This really ruined the experience. Worse, the staff recognized immediately that the one meal was missing, for it to not be a priority was pretty bad.

Took some friends to Tonto from out of town. The reservation helped us and we were seated outside in a quiet and scenic area. Food was served promptly, all tasty and well prepared, and the service was attentive and crisp. Most enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Every time I go to Tonto, Im reminded of how good it is—the food, service, and outdoor venue. All good. Our server was Cheryl and she was on the ball in spite of how busy they were on Mother's Day.
