After a visit to the less known “but not less beautiful” caves of favaterra, we asked our guide” excellent in the explanations “where we could go to have a good lunch, and we followed his excellent suggestion. All very good, but above all dishes worthy to eat, and not taste. Great cuisine, cozy place, with great parking that does not spoil. preferably and always better to book.

Only restaurant within miles around castro dei volsci open to lunch, was a pleasant surprise. genuine food, especially for the first dishes. I got a shalatiello with faves, cheek and pecorino really great, but not less the pappardelle with wild boar ragù and matriciana. out of the menu a great fat pig. grilled, sausages and excellent fries, all cooked at the moment. efficient service and friendly staff. a good discovery.
