Enoteca Del Lago - CASTEL GANDOLFO

This place was the discovery of the hoilday. It is run by a nice lady who knows Italian cuisine. Choose a meat and cheese platter with some pasta before or after. You can choose yourself from the counter. We where amazed by the quality of the food and the cheap price on the bill. From the patio there is a beautiful view over the lake. A must visit when in the area.

We’ve found this place by chance on the internet. It was a lovely surprise! The food is homey and the service is very friendly! A view to die for! Maybe the only criticism is that the place is in need of some update.

If you are looking for a lovely lunch or apperitivo (appetizer), look no further than Enoteca del Lago in the Castelli Romani. The owners and their children run this homey restaurant and make pasta to order. We visited time and time again for silky carbonara. You can order porchetta pannini, freshly cooked vegetables, cheese and meat plates and luscious family-made wine. Add to that the lovely view of Lago Albano from the patio...you have a perfect meal! The owner was amazing when catering to my eight year old son; she wanted only the best for him!
