Cougar Mountain Lodge - Cascade

Beautiful place the burger was a little dry, but good quality bark. suppe was solid and the Huckleberry shake was excellent. surprisingly good drip coffee. the atmosphere is great with a beautiful view to boot. it is an interesting place to consider that it is between the most important locations and it is not a tank point, so they are likely to be shipped a lot (17 km from cascade idaho.) but it is obvious that there was a lot of love to make this stop what it is. it has a bar, a restaurant and a small comfortable load. if you're on 55, it's worth stopping.

We were in yesterday. Service was a bit slow, but they were busy, no big deal, we weren’t in a hurry. Both ladies working were very nice, chatting with everyone. My one star is because everything had a nasty aftertaste. The worst was our cokes, we didn’t get to drink them. Everything tasted like it had a penny mixed in. Unfortunate really, I wanted to love it, the building is adorable, but we won’t be back for a meal.

After a long day of sun and rafting, Cougar Mountain Lodge was the perfect place to refuel with delicious food. I was so hungry I forgot to take photos, but I had the Big Todd burger, and it was absolutely delicious—cooked to perfection. A red beer complemented the meal perfectly, making it an ideal way to end the trip. The staff were super friendly, and despite everything being freshly prepared, the wait for the food wasn’t too long. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy a great meal after a day of adventure!

Really needs to carry cigarettes. Amber is a rockstar!!!!
