Guasaca Arepa Salsa Grill - Cary

I had only their arepas, but they are amazing and addicted. this is the salmon with honey BBQ sauce. recommended place if they have never been.

Eating and personal are amazing. there is never a wait unless they offer to make a fresh hot meat from the kitchen. no more. portions are always filled, so just order them 1 arepa and don't forget much serviettes as they can get a bit dirty.

Delicious food. I'm addicted to the Cilantro sauce and I just want to talk about everything in it. their chips n salsa are ok, but not amazing my favorite is their grilled chickens are with again. cilantro sauctheir arepa is probably one of my favs. her soda tasted a little bathing could be a bit better, lil messy and the water runs so slow thin stream) and hot. personal was friendly and fast with her servicetip they don't take it out of the bag.

Since the change of the menu board (so likely 2020, but still amazing eating.) steak arepa (building her own) was perfect.

Today it was time to meet an arepas place. We had passed the door many times but had never tried it before. Today's review has a bittersweet feeling. Let's start with the good. I had already eaten arepas before in my life because I have a Venezuelan friend (a typical dish from there) who cooks them delicious. So I had a point of reference. The arepa per se had a very good taste, and the stews to fill them were also very good. They have a cilantro sauce that is GREAT!? for dessert they have some very good little vanilla custard too. In short, the food was very good.Unfortunately, this story has a bad part. Upon entering the place I felt a blow to my nose with the very strong smell of chlorine, so much so that if it had not been cold I would have gone to eat at the tables outside. Finally, we stayed inside. The floor was super sticky, but the worst came later when I turned to one of the walls and saw...a tiny cockroach!
