Stopped here for a long lunch. Had a tasty fish soup, followed by grilled fish. Fresh tasting, well presented and e,xellent waiter, who spoke so !little English, and we spoke no Spanish, that it was hilarious communicating with google translate and hand gestures!! Puddings delicious. Well worth a long lunch stop.

Rarely have I had such an unpleasant experience. Such a beautiful location, this restaurant looks as if it is going to serve the 'perfect ' port side meal. We were so disappointed, with nothing, but nothing to redeem the lunch. Totally indifferent and slow service brought a very thin and tasteless fish soup. My goodness, this is a fishing port restaurant, how can it be possible to serve a near tasteless fish soup? This was followed by overcooked sepia. Rubbery is the most generous description. Pescaditos fritos which were over-fried in over-used oil and brought to the table totally cold. Were they fresh ? I fear not. The puddings we hoped would make up for it. Sadly no. Advise you, forget about eating here.

Está bien, teníamos a mi compañero y realmente me gustaba la comida y el personal.

Un buen bar junto al puerto, sencillo y con una comida agradable, bien cocinado y con precios moderados, y también servido con buena atención. Como anécdota, te diré por un demandante que gobierna un hotel junto a ti, que la primera zona que te encuentras cuando llegues al puerto, donde están los barcos pequeños, fue usada en los años 50 y 60 como bullring cuando la marea descendió, pusieron un cierre en la boca y allí fueron celebrados.

Buena y pegajosa comida al puerto de Candás. El cachorro un poco aceitoso, el otro todo bien.
